Privacy
This page explains what information Nudge Dispatch handles and how. Nudge Dispatch is operated by Iron Gate Executive Transport LLC, Georgia, USA. Contact: info@irongatevip.com.
Who this covers
Nudge Dispatch is software used by car-service companies (our customers) to manage their own rides, clients and drivers. Each company controls the information it enters about its clients and drivers. We process it on that company's behalf to run the service.
What we handle
- Company account details: company name, logo, rates, and owner and dispatcher sign-ins.
- Ride and client details the company enters or receives through its booking page, such as pickup and drop-off places, times, flight numbers and passenger counts.
- Driver details: name, vehicle type and plate as entered by the company, and a sign-in passcode.
- Location, only when sharing is switched on (see below).
- Basic technical data needed to keep the service running and secure, such as error and request logs kept by our hosting provider, Cloudflare.
Driver and owner location sharing
- It's opt-in. Location is shared only when a driver (or the owner) turns on On duty, share my location in the app and allows location in the browser. It stops when the switch is turned off, the person signs out, or the phone is locked or the app is closed.
- Only the latest position. We keep one position per person, the most recent one, and overwrite it with each update (about every 45 seconds while on duty).
- It expires after 15 minutes. If no new update arrives, the position is deleted automatically after 15 minutes. Positions older than 5 minutes are labeled as possibly out of date.
- No history. We don't keep a trail, route history or log of past positions.
- Who sees it. Only the owner and dispatchers of the same company. Drivers never see each other's positions, and other companies never see yours.
- Nothing automatic. Distances are straight-line estimates used to suggest the closest driver. Nobody is assigned a ride and nobody is contacted automatically. A person always decides.
What we don't do
- We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.
- We don't process ride payments or store card numbers. Clients pay the company directly.
- The app never contacts a company's clients on its own. Invoices and messages are prepared for the company to copy and send itself.
Where data is stored
The service is hosted on Cloudflare. If a company connects its own Google Sheet, that company's ride and client data may also be stored in its Google Sheet.
Keeping and deleting data
A location position is deleted when the person turns sharing off or signs out, or automatically after 15 minutes without an update. Other company data is kept while the company's account is active and is removed on request. To ask for a copy or for removal, email info@irongatevip.com.
The demo
The demo at demo.nudgedispatch.com uses made-up sample data only. It doesn't ask for or use your real location, and nobody is contacted.
